Programs and Activities at Chalmers Church
This is just an attempt to summarize some of the activities that are part of the life of the Chalmers congregation and to connect you with the various places on our web site where more information about them may be secured.
In addition to the Sunday School Program which is designed for children and the various other Youth Programs we also offer some additonal programs and activities.
At the present time there is a Women's Bible Study Group which meets at the church each Wednesday morning at 9:30 am. There is also a weekly "Faith and Fellowship Group" that meets on Wednesday evenings for study and discussion at 7:30 pm (except for the first Wednesday of each month). From time to time we have also organized a short "Focus Group Series" for study/discussion on a chosen theme of interest. The Bible Study sessions and the "Focus Groups" are led by people from the congregation or special guests from the community. There is an Adult Social Group in the congregation which meets monthly for fellowship.
The Chalmers Quilting Group. For many years a dedicated group of women have met weekly to share in fellowship and to perpetuate their very significant skills in the art of quilting. The products of their labour are both beautiful and functional and many homes in the congregation and community are enhanced with quilts which they have crafted.
Scottish Country Dancing. There is a group currently meeting on Monday evenings at 7:15 pm. for Scottish Country Dancing. They welcome others to join them for fun and fellowship. No experience necessary.
